I love this conditioner. It smells like holidays! Smooth and effective. Yet to try it on a 'hot, beach' holiday. I'm hoping it will stop my daughter's blond hair from going green!

This stuff is so amazing. My hair new dresser told me about it after suffering for years of my died hair going brassy in the sun. Doesn’t do it at all with this! I can even put a small amount on after showering and dry my hair and not even tell it’s on so I can use it all summer. On beach holidays I plaster it on to wet hair twice a day and my hair always feels so good in the evening when I wash it! Love love love this!

Overall nice product, it's hard to get good coverage on long hair though and often leaves your hair looking greasy if you put too much on while trying to get it on properly.

This is amazing stuff!! I swim about 3 times a week. I have fine shoulder length blonde highlighted hair. I have used other products to try and protect my hair during swimming. I always shower, add product to my wet hair, tie it up and place a swimming hat over the top and still chlorine has been getting in & drying out my hair. However smoothing and combing a good palm full of this product through my hair has been leaving my hair feeling soft, shiny, hydrated and noticeably less frizzy, after just two swims! Have just ordered four more, as a good price too. Order arrived very quickly indeed and well packaged.

Description

Our Sun-Sea Hair Protection keeps your hair safe from the sun, chlorine and dehydration. This specially formulated sun hair protection cream contains UV filters to protect your hair from sunlight and reduce colour fading, as well as Argan Oil to rehydrate your hair. It also contains Keratin to help repair and protect your hair against environmental damage.

    Yes, sunscreen is still required. Even when the sky is overcast, UV radiation levels are still at 80% of their normal levels. The temperature can be deceptive - a breeze can keep you cool, but it doesn't affect UV levels. Look up the UV index for your area to make sure you're using protection when you need to be.

    We're pleased to say that we don't test any of our products on animals. What's more, we don't buy ingredients that have been tested on animals by another manufacturer. So you can buy Calypso confident in the knowledge that your sun care is cruelty-free.
    All of our products are suitable for vegetarians. However, some contain ingredients like keratin (made from sheep's wool) or beeswax (made by bees) that vegans may wish to avoid.

    There are two types of ultraviolet radiation which can harm our skin – UVA and UVB. Only UVB causes burning, but both types damage our skin, so good sunscreens should protect against both. However, SPF only measures UVB protection, so you have to check to make sure your sunscreen offers UVA protection too. There are lots of different UVA measuring systems around the world. We use the European standard – look for the letters UVA inside a circle. This symbol means that a product meets the EU-recommended level of UVA protection.

    Calypso SPF products meet all UVA and UVB standards and are rigorously tested to ensure their effectiveness. The star rating system was designed by Boots (retailer) and is not recognised as industry standard, nor is it regulated.

    The letters "UVA" inside a circle is a European industry standard marking, which is contained on all Calypso products.
