Our Once a Day Tan & Protect combines UVA/UVB protection with melanin boosting ingredients to increase the underlying process of tanning within your skin, providing a more uniform and longer-lasting tan. The water resistant formula provides all day UVA/UVB protection and ensures a golden and natural tan, with 0% self-tanner.

Ensure your skin is dry.
Apply generously where applicable and smooth in gently.
Allow to dry before getting dressed.
First time users should reapply after 10 minutes.
Leave on the skin 15 minutes before sun exposure to allow the sunscreen to bind to your skin.
Showering and toweling will remove the product. Do not rub.
Do not exceed exposure to the sun for longer than your skin type allows, taking into account the strength of the sun.
Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

Do children need to have sun cream applied more frequently than adults?
Children are more susceptible to UV-related skin damage than adults. We obtain most of our lifetimes sun exposure as children and teenagers. It is known that sunburn during childhood can lead to severe skin damage in later years. You should use a specially formulated high factor product for children, such as our Once a Day SPF40 or our Sensitive Sun Lotion Spray SPF50+ and ensure it is re-applied, especially after swimming and towelling. Ideally, children should be covered up with loose clothes and wide-brimmed hats. Most importantly, children under 6 months should be kept out of direct sunlight.
Do Once A Day sunscreens really work for the whole day after a single application?
Yes! They keep their effectiveness by binding more strongly to the skin, so they last longer. Our Calypso Once A Day range is rigorously tested to ensure that even after 8 hours of wear, it still offers the SPF on the label. You should be extra careful to apply enough of the product and make sure all exposed skin is covered. However, please remember that even water-resistant Once A Day sunscreens can still be washed off if you spend a long time in the water or if you dry yourself with a towel, so you might need to reapply.
Can I use Calypso products during pregnancy?
Yes you can. All ingredients in the Calypso product range have been approved as cosmetic ingredients.
Does it contain fake tan?
This product does not contain fake tan. Instead, it features a tan enhancer formulated to accelerate and extend your natural tan, helping you achieve a radiant glow.

Switched a few years ago to this product after paying lots more. Love how it goes on the skin smoothly and protects all day. Lovely deep golden tan that seems to last longer. The price is right too.

This product is amazing (once youve got past the initial smell !!) does exactly what it says in the tin..protects you all day..its as good but lots cheaper than other once a day lotions Ive been using it for years and have never burned once ..even in very high temperatures..Ive tried to persuade others to use it but they dont seem to think it can be any good!!! IT IS & I go a lovely colour..wouldnt use anything else

Great Product - Great Service !
Easy to apply - gave my wife and I a great deep tan, loved the fact we could apply at the start of the day and lasted and protected us well all day, even though we were in and out of the swimming pool. No burning whatsoever ! Ordered in the afternoon and the two products were delivered next day - at a very competitive price - postage was free - Bonus! Fabulous
Love Calypso once a day, easy to apply, doesnt leave any marks on clothing, very effective. And a very good price too. Normally start off with 20 and then progress to 15 once tan is established. Would definitely recommend

Really works!
I love that you put it on in the morning and can forget about it all day but DO remember to put plenty on EVERYWHERE! Doesnt dry your skin out..leaves it feeling soft and silky Its very reasonably priced compared to other ONCE A DAY products Ive used CALYPSO for years and never had a problem would (& do)recommend it to everyone ! Give it a go..you wont be disappointed! (or sunburnt!)

It works...
Does what it says on the product keeps you protected for up to 10 hours and very easy to apply so you are protected straight away. We took Three 200ml bottles on our 14 day cruise to the Caribbean and it worked out just fine and even after being home now over 3 weeks the tan is still there and has only just starting to fade... perhaps we need another holiday ? Calypso take note!
