Description

Our Carrot Oil with Tan Extender is specially formulated to give a deep, long-lasting tan. It is enriched with natural Carrot Oil and Vitamins A and E to replace natural oils lost by exposure to the sun and wind. It also contains added moisturisers to help keep skin hydrated and supple. The water resistant formula accelerates tanning and is easy to apply.

Tanning occurs when melanin is produced in an attempt to protect the skin cells from UV radiation. A tan is therefore a sign of damaged skin. It may offer limited protection from burning, but offers no protection against the effects of radiation that can lead to skin cancer. Using UVA/UVB sun protection is one of the most effective ways of protecting the skin. By doing this you’ll get a gradual tan that will last longer, as your skin will have more time to acclimatise to the sun. Calypso Carrot Oil with SPF accelerates tanning while keeping you protected.
No, you will still tan with a high factor but it will take a little longer. However, your tan will also last longer as your skin will have more time to acclimatise to the sun.

Sunless tanners and bronzers are applied to the skin and can provide a temporary, artificial tan, either by staining the skin or by compelling the skin to produce melanin. Make sure to read their labels to find out if they provide any sun protection.
